This was my first time booking a vacation through Brenda at Cruise Planners. I found out that Cruise Planners does so much more than book cruises. Brenda arranged concierge-style travel where the 3 people in my party had the same private driver (Santiago) and English -speaking guide (Kawi) for all the cultural sites we selected and saw during the days we were in Bali. We were able to make instant adjustments to the times we stopped for lunch and the sites we saw. I usually plan all of my trips by myself because I do not enjoy large tour buses, but working with Brenda took all of the stress of vacation planning off of my plate so I could truly relax! She was always available which gave us a real sense of confidence that things would go according to plan. It was all amazing. Thank you so much for finding us a cruise that had something or things for everyone. Our handicapped-accessible stateroom was lovely, very large. The bathroom met all my needs.
We enjoyed a lecture on the artist Salvador Dali & spending family time, particularly dinners. We also saw 3 great shows as did the rest of the group.
The families enjoyed the excursions. The kids loved the arcade, napkin folding & won the scavenger hunt. They knew the ship much better than any of the adults. Secrets Maroma was everything we could have hoped for. The service was excellent and very personalized. We think this is our favorite resort we've been to. The beach was BEAUTIFUL, even in early August with the seaweed. The resort kept it very clean each morning. The food was great, and there were tons of activities for all different kinds of people. We had an absolute blast! We were actually just talking about you this morning. We had talked about maybe booking a trip in October sometime. We have friends that are used to cruise prices and we are trying to convert them to all inclusive resorts. I suggested Punta Cana because it seems to be on the cheaper side. I have been there twice. I stayed at Dreams and Ocean Blue. We were wondering if you could help us with that.

Since I’ve started using Danielle Petty for all my travel needs, the one thing I didn’t like about traveling, (the planning), has been eliminated. When Covid hit and my vacation needed cancelled, she got it taken care of right away-she even got my insurance money back! Danielle’s experience and expertise gave me the confidence I needed to take a family road trip this summer, finding wonderful hotels I felt comfortable enough to travel to during this pandemic. The trip was great. Norwegian Cruise line was top notch. The entry and exit was a breeze. The food and drinks were excellent. We have no complaints about the cruise line at all and would definitely cruise on Norwegian again.
We were unable to go to Maui due to the weather and the boat was unable to dock at the port. That was kind of a bummer and we missed two of the excursions that we planned on that island. I know that you can not plan the weather but it started out the cruise on a bad note. I guess that means I need to go back to Maui some day!
The other ports were nice and we got to see a lot. The extra day in Hilo was not too exciting because there is not a lot to see, but we enjoyed the weather and relaxation.
The trip is what I expected and we totally enjoyed. Thanks for all your help and planning. The trip was great. Norwegian Cruise line was top notch. The entry and exit was a breeze. It (Punta Cana) was super, beautiful, and fun. I felt very safe at the resort, dolphin adventure, and we did a free tour of a chocolate factory.

Our cruise was great. The Neuw Statendam is a beautiful ship. Holland America did a truly spectacular job in building this brand new ship, from the furnishings to the art work. The staff is very good, service was great and the food was good. We enjoyed the entertainment and other activities. The ship was the perfect size for us. I would recommend this ship to others who want to cruise.
We did not do excursions at all of the ports, but the ones we did do we did enjoy. I did send some feedback to Holland America about on of the ports, Grand Turk. It was very disappointing as there was really nothing on the island to see. I realize it is supposed to be a great scuba and snorkeling spot, but if you don't participate in these activities, there is nothing on the island. The stingray sandbar on Grand Cayman was the highlight of the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed this. Our cruise was great. The Neuw Statendam is a beautiful ship. We had a wonderful time. No travel issues. Lucked out between snow falls.
Really nice place. The restaurants were good had a nice variety. Our room was also very nice, spacious and clean. The beach area, bars and pools the best. Workers were very friendly. We met a ton of people from the Midwest. LOL. Escaping the winter for a few days like us.
